The references I found online for moss carpets that are made using the punch needle technique were quite interesting. These examples used different yarns to produce a variety of textures.

The miro board below contains examples of moss carpets purchased from Etsy. As I was working on my rug, I decided to use the punch needle technique instead of rug hooking since I am more familiar with it. Several of the examples were made using rug hooking technique, but I will be using the punch needle technique instead since I am more comfortable with it.

My Pasir Ris Memories Art Exhibition

During my visit to Block 192 Void Deck, I was able to witness an exhibition of art which was created over a period of nine months by the artist Mr Clarence Ho, a resident of Pasir Ris. This augmented reality art exhibition explores Pasir Ris' history from its rural past in the 1800s to the modern town that it is today.

My experience with scanning the QR code on the artwork was that the loading was slow and not very responsive, however, once the QR code had been scanned I found that the animation of the watercolour paintings was done well. Each painting is also provided with a soundtrack, making the experience more enjoyable.
